Frequently Asked Questions
We are Here to Answer Your Questions
1. What are stem cells?
Stem cells are cells with the potential to develop into many different types of cells throughout the body, including muscle and brain cells. They serve as a repair system for the body. There are two main types of stem cells: embryonic stem cells and adult stem cells. We only use adult stem cells from FDA-licensed and registered tissue banks.
2. What are adult stem cells?
We use adult stem cells harvested from the placenta and umbilical cord tissue donated by mothers after a full-term pregnancy and healthy C-Section childbirth.
This tissue contains growth factors, stem cells, and other healing components. In the past, the placenta was discarded after childbirth, but now, due to the advancements in medical science, we can put that to good use and heal patients from it.
3. What conditions can stem cells help with?
Stem cells can be used to help treat:
• sports injuries
• orthopedics issues
• auto-immune disorders
• sexual dysfunction
• neck & back pain
• neurodegenerative disorders
• and numerous other conditions.
During the free consultation, our doctors will go over your specific condition and how it can benefit from stem cell therapy.
4. Is there evidence that stem cells work?
Yes. Clinical trials have been completed worldwide, proving that stem cell treatments can treat several conditions. Over 6,000 clinical studies posted on the clinicaltrials.gov website prove the efficacy of stem cell treatments in a wide variety of health conditions. In addition, we have had fantastic results treating numerous conditions such as chronic pain, degenerative diseases, auto-immune disorders, and countless others. Just check out the testimonials throughout our site.
5. How long does it take to work?
The timing of benefits from stem cell therapy can vary from patient to patient. Some patients see results in as little as two days. Generally, the symptoms continue to improve for up to 3 months, with full treatment benefits showing in 6 to 9 months.
6. What are some of the general risks associated with stem cell treatments?
Unlike surgeries and medications, there are little to no risks associated with stem cell treatments. Since stem cells are delivered via an injection, there is a minimal risk of infection at the injection site, but that is true with any injection. In rare cases, some patients may feel a slight headache or soreness that goes away within a few hours. Stem cell treatments are generally very safe and present no significant risks.
7. Can one use stem cells collected from one's body to treat different conditions?
Yes, this can be done, but it is less effective and optimal than using fresh stem cells from the umbilical cord tissue. As we age, our stem cells tend to lose their full healing potential, and we also have fewer and fewer stem cells available in our bodies due to aging. Using fresh and most potent stem cells from the umbilical cord tissue is a much better and more effective alternative to using our stem cells.
8. Can my body reject the stem cells?
No, stem cells from the umbilical cord tissue are naturally immune privileged. This means that our body’s immune system does not reject them.
9. Where do you get stem cells that are used in treatments?
We receive our tissue from the United States FDA-licensed and registered tissue banks. The FDA monitors and regulates these tissue banks and undergoes rigorous quality control processes to get licensed. All tissue from these tissue banks has to meet the safety criteria and standards set by the FDA.
10. About how many cells are being implanted during the procedure?
The amount of stem cells being implanted depends on your individualized treatment plan. However, all treatments involve injecting several million stem cells.
11. What side effects can I expect?
There are very few side effects to stem cell treatment. The most frequent are headaches, chills, mild pain at the injection site, and some swelling post-treatment, which goes away within a few hours. Most patients feel no pain or side effects due to the stem cell treatment.
12. How much does it cost?
The cost of stem cell treatment can range from $5,000 to $15,000 depending on the individualized treatment plan and severity of the health condition.
13. Will it hurt?
No. Stem cell treatments are non-invasive and rarely painful.
14. Will my immune system be compromised?
No, stem cell treatments strengthen your immune system by introducing new stem cells, contributing to your immune response.
15. Do stem cells come from babies?
No, our stem cells do not come from babies. The use of embryonic stem cells is not legal in the United States. Our stem cells come from umbilical cord tissue that mothers donate after they have given birth to full-term babies.
16. Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
No, we do not offer a money-back guarantee. However, our highly experienced and well-trained medical team is fully committed to helping drive the most optimal outcome for our patients. We have treated hundreds of patients with excellent results and a very high success rate. Watch the real testimonials on this site to feel better about making the right decision.
17. Will this procedure impact my ability to recover from surgery?
No, stem cell treatment is a great way to recover from the surgery faster. Stem cells are healing cells, and they speed up the recovery process.
18. Do you offer educational seminars?
